Ishani is one of the pioneers of hip hop music in the city and has been a DJ for over 15 years now. Her unique style typically mixing old school and new school hip-hop has cleverly merged fans of both styles in a way not seen before.She has an ongoing weekly residency at Mumbai's popular Khar Social, which also happens to be the only hip hop residency in the country. Previously She has held residencies at many Mumbai nightclubs including Purple Haze Lounge and at Zenzi (Bandra), Zenzi Mills, IBAR and Junkyard Bandra. Along with her performance at the NH7 Weekender - Pune 2019, in the past she has played at the prestigious Magnetic Fields Festival and at BudXMumbai property as well. Ishani is also opened for Wiz Khalifa at Sunburn Arena in Mumbai.
